Here is a preview of my bears that have been nominated for Golden Teddy Awards Photos Taken By Brian Page of Page Photography Art Through Photography Gig Harbor, WA.
	Xiong-Mao & Lei IM PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT XIONG-MAO & LEI HAVE BEEN NOMINATED FOR THE 2005 GOLDEN TEDDY AWARD AND A TOBY AWARD! Xiong-Mao, is a 21" free standing panda holding his puppet Lei. ("Xiong-Mao" means panda in Chinese and "Lei" means puppet in Chinese) Xiong-Mao has been created out of a black and sand English mohair with wool felt paw pads. He peers through antique shoebutton eyes with green and white wool felt tucked behind them and a hand painted "twinkle" in his eye. His muzzle has been needle scuplted to give him "jowls" and then I have airbrushed him black and brown tones to accent his facial features. Xiong-Mao is wearing a darling vintage childs brown wool outfit with a very detailed Victorian shirt from the 1880's.
Xiong-Mao & Lei Together His puppet Lei has been created out of a tan Schulte mohair with wool felt paw pads. He peers through German glass eyes, and also has green and white wool felt behind them. His nose has been sculpted out of clay and he has a hand stitched smiley mouth with rosey red cheeks. He is wearing a wool felt green and burgundy clown ruffle and matching hat and has black rick-rack trim. He has been completed with a mohair pom pom on the top of his hat, as well as down his tummy.
	Private Malone It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Private Malone. He is a BIG boy at 28" tall and he is dressed in a childs wool military uniform and matching hat.
Private Malone Private Malone has been created out of a beautiful gold Schulte mohair with wool felt paw pads. He peers through big BROWN German glass eyes and he has a hand sculpted Fimo nose, complete with nostrils. I have needle scuplted his face to give him defined jowls (they are hard to see in his photos) and his mouth has been hand stitched. His facial features have been accented with subtle airbrushing in black and brown tones to complete his child like look. He is fully jointed with hardboard discs and locknuts and has been stuffed with a combination of excelsior and pellets, making him very huggable. I have completed his look with a vintage child's military uniform, complete with patches and badges.
	Little Lord Fauntleroy Little Lord Fauntleroy is an 11" tattered ted made to look as though he has endured years of love.
Little Lord Fauntleroy Little Lord Fauntleroy has been created out of a gold Schulte mohair with wool felt paw pads. He has been hand distressed to give him a well loved appearance, complete with missing fur and "stains". He peers through matte German glass eyes and has a hand sticthed and very tattered nose, mouth and claws. He has been stuffed with a combination of excelsior and pellets to give him a true old bear feeling. Little Lord Fauntleroy is wearing a vintage velvet doll jacket with lace cuffs and a stained bow around his neck.
	Tawainai Im so pleased to announce Tawainai was honored with1st place in the Amigurumi Category of theFirst Annual URSA Awards. A BIG thank you to all of you who voted for him!!!
